Terrence Howard is not having much luck in the marital department. His third wife has divorced his ass.
His empire is down an empress.
Terrence Howard’s marriage to third wife Mira Pak ended in divorce on July 27, the Daily News confirmed Monday as a separate court proceeding with second wife Michelle Ghent ended with closing arguments.
Divorce paperwork obtained by The News revealed Pak, 38, filed for the secret split back in March, when she was pregnant with the couple’s first child.
She cited irreconcilable differences in her Chicago petition and claimed she and Howard, 46, separated in August 2014.
The “Empire” star was in the Los Angeles courtroom Monday in his ongoing bid to overturn his 2012 settlement with Ghent due to claims she extorted him.
The judge said he planned to issue a ruling early next week.
In his testimony, Howard alleged Ghent threatened to release embarrassing recordings of him dancing naked and engaging in phone sex with other women if she didn’t get her way.
Ghent, through her lawyers, has claimed Howard always had “free will” and that she simply “met fire with fire” when she threatened to sell recordings one time while facing eviction due to Howard’s neglect and taking surgery-related hormones.
It was during Howard’s Monday testimony that a lawyer for Ghent referred to Pak as the Oscar nominated “Hustle & Flow” star’s “ex-wife.”
The reference surprised many spectators – especially after Pak appeared by Howard’s side in court last week.
Howard and Pak tied the knot in Canada in October 2013, their divorce paperwork confirmed.
They welcomed son Qirin in May.
Howard’s newfound bachelor status came up as he was grilled about a phone call he made to Ghent just days after getting hitched to Pak.
In recorded excerpts played in court, Howard was heard telling Ghent that he still loved her, despite having a new bride.
“I will never love someone like I loved you,” Howard told Ghent in the October 2013 call. “You are my dream of all time.”
